OVERVIEW

Dozer Pro

Dozer Pro brings the design surface and the dozer blade into the same control process. GNSS positioning establishes the machine’s location, IMU sensors track blade orientation, and the controller adjusts the blade through a compatible machine interface. The operator follows the work on the in-cab display while grading toward the required elevation and slope.

Built on the FJD DC100 platform, this 3D dozer control system supports road construction, site preparation, mining infrastructure and large earthmoving projects. Crews can import a compatible CAD design or define slopes, depths and elevations on site. Automatic and manual modes allow blade operation to suit the stage of work and the installed control interface.

The system is offered in three CANAMEK packages, each with a base station. The packages differ in their hydraulic valve and installation inclusions. Selecting the package therefore starts with the dozer’s existing controls, the required integration and who will complete the installation.

Complete Design-to-Grade Workflow

Dozer Pro uses the project model as the reference for grading. Positioning and sensor measurements show where the blade is working, and the control system uses that information to follow the design.

  1. Install and configure the system. Match the GNSS layout, sensors, control interface and electrical connections to the dozer. Complete the required machine and blade calibration.
  2. Establish RTK positioning. Configure the compatible radio or network correction link and verify the machine’s position against the project reference.
  3. Prepare the design. Import a supported DXF, LandXML or DWG file, or define the required slopes, depths and elevations on site. Select the matching coordinate system.
  4. Review the target surface. Check the design and the live machine information on the terminal before starting automatic operation.
  5. Grade with the selected control mode. In automatic mode, the system adjusts blade position through the installed interface. Manual mode gives the operator direct blade control when required.
  6. Monitor the result. Use the live 3D view and task visualization to follow the work. Where configured, the Digital Construction platform supports project dispatch and remote review of machine status and progress.

Automatic blade control assists the grading operation. The operator continues to drive the dozer, manage material and supervise the work.

Choose the Dozer Pro Package

Core System

The Core System combines the Dozer Pro control system with a base station.

Choose this configuration when the required machine interface and installation arrangements will be specified separately. Automatic operation requires a compatible, completed blade-control installation.

RTK Ready

The RTK Ready package adds a hydraulic valve to the system and base station. It provides the valve hardware for a compatible hydraulic installation, with installation arrangements handled separately.

The valve and machine interface must suit the dozer’s hydraulic and electrical configuration. Package selection alone does not establish compatibility with every machine.

Turnkey System

The Turnkey System includes the system, base station, hydraulic valve and product installation. It suits buyers who want the equipment and installation supplied through the same package.

Confirm the machine details and installation scope with CANAMEK when ordering so the package is configured for the intended dozer.

Package Base Station Hydraulic Valve Product Installation

Machine Interface and GNSS Layout

The DC100 platform supports dual-mast and mastless layouts. Its control-interface options include valve, relay and CAN bus solutions for supported hydraulic and electro-hydraulic machines.

The available layout and interface depend on the machine and purchased configuration. CANAMEK matches these elements to the installation. The mastless layout moves the positioning installation away from blade-mounted masts to improve the view from the cab.

Automatic Blade Control

Dozer Pro compares live blade-position information with the required 3D surface. The controller then commands the compatible blade-control interface to adjust the blade as the machine grades.

GNSS positioning supplies the location reference. IMU measurements provide orientation information, and the control algorithm combines these inputs with the design. In a hydraulic valve installation, electro-hydraulic proportional control translates the command into the required blade movement.

The operator can select automatic or manual operation. Automatic mode supports continuous correction toward the design; manual mode is available when direct blade operation is needed. This reduces the amount of repeated manual blade adjustment required during compatible grading work.

GNSS Positioning and IMU Feedback

The DC100 positioning platform provides 1408 GNSS channels, and the CANAMEK specification lists support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou. Radio or network RTK supplies the correction reference for high-accuracy positioning.

CANAMEK lists positioning accuracy in the ±0.79–1.18 in / ±2–3 cm range. The DC100 brochure specifies ±1.18 in / ±3 cm integrated positioning accuracy. These values describe the published positioning performance; the finished surface also depends on corrections, calibration, site conditions, machine response and operation.

The IMU has a specified resolution of less than 0.01° and an output frequency of up to 100 Hz. It supplies frequent orientation updates so the controller can account for blade movement during grading. Sensor resolution and positioning accuracy are separate specifications.

CAD Import and On-Site Surface Setup

The DC100 software supports DXF, LandXML and DWG design files. This allows a prepared project design to become the reference for the grading operation.

For work that can be defined directly at the machine, the operator can create slopes, depths and elevations on site. The platform also supports more than 6,000 EPSG coordinate systems and custom presets, allowing the project reference to be matched to local requirements.

Before grading, the design, coordinate system and positioning reference must agree. Once configured, the operator can work from the selected surface while viewing the machine’s relationship to it.

Real-Time 3D Guidance and Task Visualization

The terminal displays live 3D guidance and construction results. This gives the operator a view of the grading task while the automatic control system works toward the target surface.

The display measures 10.1 in / 256.5 mm and provides 1920 × 1200 resolution. Its rated brightness is approximately 219 foot-lamberts / 750 cd/m². An octa-core 2.2 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage support the terminal’s project and display functions.

The practical value is immediate feedback. The operator can see how the work relates to the design and respond when the task, material or site conditions require attention.

Hydraulic and Electronic Machine Integration

Dozer Pro uses a compatible interface to connect the control system with the blade. The CANAMEK page specifies electro-hydraulic proportional control, while the DC100 platform also offers relay and CAN bus integration for supported machines.

The published DC100 hydraulic valve is rated at 5.28 US gal/min / 20 L/min, 725 psi / 50 bar, and 24 V DC. These are specifications for that control valve. They are not ratings for the dozer’s complete hydraulic system.

Machine selection must account for the valve circuit, available electrical supply and supported control arrangement. The hardware and calibration are then configured around that installation.

Maintain the Required Grade with Fewer Manual Corrections

A dozer operator must continually balance blade position, machine movement and the material being pushed. When the blade drifts from the intended profile, the area may require another pass or additional material correction.

Automatic blade control uses live positioning and the design surface to make the required adjustments. This can help maintain a more consistent grade and reduce avoidable corrective work. Results depend on the quality of the reference model and the installed system’s calibration and response.

Reduce Unnecessary Material Movement

Overcutting or placing material above the required surface can increase the work needed to finish an area. A digital target gives the control system a defined reference throughout the grading task.

Following that reference can help reduce unnecessary removal, replacement and reshaping of material. The amount of corrective work avoided depends on the material, grade requirements and site conditions.

Software, Connectivity and Remote Support

The terminal supports 4G LTE, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 with BLE. The control box provides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet communication. The DC100 platform also uses a built-in radio for compatible correction workflows.

The manufacturer documents cloud diagnostics and over-the-air updates. Its Digital Construction platform supports project planning and dispatch, with remote access to machine status and team progress. These connected functions depend on the installed software, service configuration and an available connection.

CANAMEK provides technical assistance through its Support & Service team, including email, telephone, WhatsApp and remote desktop where appropriate. Software licences, cloud-service access, correction subscriptions and mobile data should be specified in the quotation.

Solutions for Dozer Grading and Earthmoving

Dozer Pro is intended for construction work that requires the blade to follow a defined elevation, slope or 3D model. Documented applications include:

  • Road subgrade construction
  • Mining roads and associated infrastructure
  • Airport and port earthworks
  • Industrial-site grading
  • Park and campus construction
  • General construction-site preparation and large earthmoving projects

For agricultural land-leveling and drainage-design workflows, review TOPO-dozer. Its published functions include field surveying and surface design. Choose between the systems according to the project workflow, machine configuration and required data functions.

Commercial Package Benefits

The three packages let the buyer select the required level of hydraulic hardware and installation support. A base station is included in every package. RTK Ready adds the hydraulic valve, while Turnkey includes the valve and product installation.

Dozer Pro includes a 2-year warranty, and CANAMEK provides after-sales support seven days a week. The equipment, machine interface and installation scope can be reviewed together before the order is placed.

This package structure is useful when an existing fleet has different integration requirements. A machine with a suitable control arrangement may need a different installation scope from one requiring additional hydraulic hardware.
