It is a laser leveling package combining the CANAMEK Gold-CAN machine-control system with the Nedo PRIMUS 3 H2N dual slope rotary laser transmitter. The transmitter establishes the reference plane, and Gold-CAN provides visual grade guidance or automatic blade raise/lower control on compatible machinery.
The starter package adds the Nedo PRIMUS 3 H2N transmitter kit, a transmitter tripod and quick-connect valve block with hoses to the Gold-CAN control platform. This supplies the laser reference equipment as well as the machine-control electronics.
The package includes a CP210-CAN control box, MD205-CAN machine receiver, system cables and control-kit carry case; a Nedo PRIMUS 3 H2N laser with COMMANDER 3, rod clamp, Quick-Fix 2, rechargeable battery, charger and transport case; a transmitter tripod; and a quick-connect valve block with hoses. A compatible machine, grading implement and suitable hydraulic installation are required for grading.
They perform different jobs. MD205-CAN is mounted on the machine and sends grade information to the CP210-CAN. COMMANDER 3 is a handheld digital receiver and radio remote used for the Nedo transmitter, axis setup and independent elevation checks.
No. The PM400-CAN is an optional addition to this starter configuration. It provides powered receiver-height adjustment and is required for Gold-CAN Survey mode.
Yes. With a compatible hydraulic solenoid valve installation, the CP210-CAN uses the MD205-CAN signal to raise or lower the blade relative to the laser plane. The operator continues to control machine travel and material handling.
Yes. Manual mode provides above-grade, on-grade and below-grade indications while the operator controls the machine hydraulics. It can be used during setup or whenever direct blade control is preferred.
Yes. The PRIMUS 3 H2N supports a horizontal reference and slopes in one or two axes. X- and Y-axis settings extend to ±15%, with three decimal places available for percentage entry.
No. Dual slope describes the X- and Y-axis inclination of the transmitter’s reference plane. This Gold-CAN configuration uses one machine receiver for blade elevation control; it does not provide independent left- and right-side blade control.
Gold-CAN provides selectable control settings of ±0.12 in / ±3 mm, ±0.35 in / ±9 mm and ±0.55 in / ±14 mm. These are control tolerance settings, not a guarantee of final surface accuracy. The finished result also depends on setup, hydraulics, mounting, travel speed, soil and machine conditions.
Nedo specifies leveling accuracy of ±0.02 in at 32.8 ft / ±0.5 mm at 10 m and slope function accuracy of ±0.015%. These transmitter specifications are separate from the Gold-CAN control settings and COMMANDER 3 receiver accuracy bands.
Nedo specifies an approximate working diameter of 2,297 ft / 700 m with COMMANDER 3. CANAMEK publishes an approximate working diameter of 2,700 ft / 800 m with CANAMEK receivers. The COMMANDER 3 radio remote range is up to 492 ft / 150 m. Receiver type, visibility and site conditions affect usable coverage.
AutoTarget aligns the Y-slope axis with COMMANDER 3, and FindX helps locate the corresponding X-axis. PlaneLock uses COMMANDER 3 to monitor the laser plane at a selected slope; in the manufacturer’s described arrangement, the other axis remains horizontal.
Yes. The MD205-CAN receives the beam through 360 degrees, but the laser still needs an unobstructed optical path to the receiver. Terrain, equipment and other obstacles can interrupt reception.
It is intended for compatible scrapers, land levelers and blade-controlled grading equipment. Installation depends on the machine’s electrical supply, hydraulic valve interface, receiver mounting and cable routing. The machine configuration should be checked before selecting the installation components.
Automatic mode requires compatible on/off solenoid valves controlling blade raising and lowering. The valve interface, pressure, flow, couplers and mounting must suit the machine. Gold-CAN provides independent raise and lower response adjustment from 20 to 100.
The CP210-CAN and MD205-CAN support 12–24 V DC. The documented hydraulic valve output is 12 V DC, so a 24 V machine supply does not by itself establish compatibility with a particular solenoid valve. The optional PM400-CAN mast supports 10–24 V DC.
The PRIMUS 3 H2N uses an included rechargeable Li-ion battery and charger, with operation for up to 40 hours. COMMANDER 3 uses two 1.5 V AA batteries and is rated for up to 80 hours. Actual runtime depends on operating conditions and battery state.
The CP210-CAN control box is rated IP66, the MD205-CAN machine receiver is rated IP68, and both the PRIMUS 3 H2N transmitter and COMMANDER 3 are rated IP67. Each component should be operated and maintained according to its own instructions.
COMMANDER 3 supports handheld elevation checks relative to the laser plane. Gold-CAN Survey mode requires the optional PM400-CAN electric mast and provides relative elevation assessment against a selected reference point.
No. COMMANDER 3 controls the Nedo laser transmitter and serves as a handheld receiver. The separate optional RS100-CAN wired remote connects to the CP210-CAN for blade up/down commands and Manual/Automatic mode selection.
The documented grading workflow uses the included rotating laser transmitter as its reference and does not require a GNSS base station. The MD205-CAN detects that laser plane and supplies grade information to the machine controller.
The package includes a 2-year warranty and CANAMEK after-sales support seven days a week.

Use the laser plane and Gold-CAN blade guidance to establish a consistent field elevation. Automatic mode can control compatible hydraulics while the operator manages the machine and soil movement.
Grade agricultural surfaces to the specified level or slope before irrigation use. A consistent reference helps the operator shape the surface according to the intended water-distribution plan.
Set the required transmitter slope and grade toward planned drainage routes or outlets. Correcting surface irregularities can support water movement when the field design and drainage infrastructure are suitable.
Enter the required X- and Y-axis slopes to create a reference plane for longitudinal slope, cross slope or a combination of both. The machine receiver guides blade elevation relative to that plane.
Fit the Gold-CAN system to compatible scraper or land-leveling equipment for visual guidance or automatic blade raising and lowering. Tune the control band and hydraulic response for the implement and grading stage.
Use selectable control tolerances to suit successive grading passes. The same laser reference supports initial shaping and closer final elevation control, subject to machine and ground conditions.
Use COMMANDER 3 and a suitable measuring rod to check reference elevations around the job. This supports setup checks and review of the graded surface independently of the machine receiver.
Add the PM400-CAN electric mast to use Gold-CAN Survey mode for high/low comparisons and slope assessment relative to a selected benchmark.
