Canadian Fertilizer Producer Updates Expansion Plans as Alberta Production Increases

Canadian fertilizer manufacturer Replenish Nutrients released an operational update on 27 October 2026, outlining progress at its Alberta production facilities and a revised expansion timetable for its U.S. operations.

The company confirmed that its Beiseker Hutterite Colony facility completed its first commercial fertilizer sales during October. Its nearby granulation facility is currently operating one shift, with plans to transition to 24-hour production by the end of 2026. Replenish also reported that its Crookston, Minnesota, facility has begun low-volume production, but now expects volumes to increase through the spring 2027 application season rather than reach the previously targeted rate by the end of 2026.

In Alberta, the company is continuing planning for a proposed 150,000-tonne-per-year pellet fertilizer expansion, targeting completion in early 2028. The developments are relevant to regional agricultural input manufacturing, although the production targets and future sales growth remain company projections.
