CANAMEK-Gold-CAN Laser Control System & Quick connect Valve block and hoses
The CANAMEK-Gold-CAN Laser Control System & Quick connect Valve block and hoses is a laser land leveling system with hydraulic valve equipment supplied alongside the controller and receiver. It combines the CP210-CAN control box, MD205-CAN laser receiver, system cables and carry case with a directional solenoid valve assembly, quick-connect valve block and a two-hose set.
The package uses the same control platform as the CANAMEK Gold-CAN Laser Control System. Its distinguishing feature is the added hydraulic equipment: customers can select a valve assembly with or without a relief valve, and both configurations include two hoses, each 7 ft / 2.13 m long with a ½ in / 12.7 mm diameter.
Designed for farmers, land-leveling contractors and operators of compatible grading machinery, the system provides visual grade guidance or automatic blade raise/lower control. A compatible rotating red-beam laser establishes the reference plane; the receiver detects the beam, and the controller uses that information to guide the operator or command the hydraulic valve. The working reference may be level, single slope or dual slope, depending on the separate laser transmitter.
Complete Laser Reference and Hydraulic Blade-Control Workflow
The Gold-CAN package connects laser grade detection with the machine’s blade-control circuit. A compatible laser transmitter is required separately.
- Establish the reference plane. Set the rotating laser to the required elevation and, where supported by the transmitter, the required slope.
- Position the receiver. Mount the MD205-CAN on the compatible machine or implement and establish its relationship to the blade’s working position.
- Detect the laser beam. The receiver identifies the beam position within its detection window and sends grade information to the CP210-CAN through the CAN connection.
- Select the operating mode and tolerance. Choose Manual or Automatic operation and the accuracy setting appropriate to the task. Adjust blade raise and lower response to suit the hydraulic installation.
- Control blade elevation. In Automatic mode, the controller commands the compatible solenoid valve to raise or lower the blade. In Manual mode, the operator makes hydraulic adjustments using the grade indicators.
- Monitor operation. Use the control display and receiver LEDs to follow grade position, blade direction and system status.
Survey mode adds relative-elevation assessment when the optional PM400-CAN Electric Power Mast is installed and configured.
Package Contents and Valve Selection
The main purchasing choice is the hydraulic valve configuration. The Gold-CAN controller, receiver and confirmed hose set remain the same across the two relief-valve options.
Option 1: Hydraulic Valve Assembly with Relief Valve
Includes the Gold-CAN control system, a hydraulic valve assembly with a relief valve, the quick-connect valve block and two supplied hoses. Select this version when it matches the hydraulic arrangement specified for the machine and implement.
Option 2: Hydraulic Valve Assembly without Relief Valve
Includes the Gold-CAN control system, a hydraulic valve assembly without a relief valve, the quick-connect valve block and the same two-hose set. Confirm this configuration against the machine’s hydraulic circuit before ordering.
Equipment Required Separately and Optional Accessories
A compatible rotating red-beam laser transmitter is required to establish the reference plane. The transmitter, its tripod and the grading machine or implement are outside this bundle.
The PM400-CAN power mast and RS100-CAN wired remote switch are optional accessories. The mast provides receiver-height adjustment and supports Survey mode; the remote provides blade up/down and Manual/Automatic controls. Machine-specific mounting and hydraulic interface requirements must be checked for the intended installation.
Manual, Automatic and Survey Modes
Manual Grade Guidance
Manual mode displays the receiver’s position relative to the laser reference while the operator controls the machine hydraulics. Above-grade, on-grade and below-grade indications provide a continuous reference for blade adjustment.
This mode suits work where the operator needs direct control of blade movement while retaining laser guidance.
Automatic Blade Raise and Lower Control
In Automatic mode, the CP210-CAN processes receiver data and sends commands to the hydraulic solenoid valve. The system raises or lowers the blade to bring the receiver back into the selected on-grade band.
Automatic correction can reduce the need for repeated manual blade adjustments during compatible grading operations. Hydraulic integration and response settings must suit the machine and implement.
Survey Mode with the Optional Power Mast
With the optional PM400-CAN Electric Power Mast, Survey mode supports evaluation of high and low points relative to a chosen reference. It can be used for land-elevation checks, road-slope assessment and related surveying tasks before or during grading.
The power mast is required for the documented Survey-mode configuration and is not included in this package.
360° Laser Detection and Clear Grade Indication
The MD205-CAN laser receiver provides 360° laser capture and a 7.48 in / 190 mm measurement window. Eight distinct beam-detection positions provide grade-position information for the control system.
Flashing LEDs identify the receiver’s relationship to the reference plane:
- Red: above grade
- Green: on grade
- Yellow: below grade
Real-time laser bounce filtration and adjustable signal smoothing support stable grade detection under machine movement and vibration. The receiver’s mechanical clamp provides the documented mounting interface for compatible machine installations.
Selectable Accuracy Settings for Different Grading Tasks
The system offers three selectable accuracy settings:
- ±0.12 in / ±3 mm
- ±0.35 in / ±9 mm
- ±0.55 in / ±14 mm
These settings allow the operator to select the receiver/control tolerance appropriate to the task. A tighter setting narrows the on-grade band; a wider setting permits a larger deviation before correction is required.
These tolerances describe the selected control band. Finished-surface performance also depends on the laser reference, machine setup and hydraulic response.
Hydraulic Valve Control with Adjustable Raise and Lower Response
The included CS-G02-C6-D1-N is an on/off directional solenoid valve with a 12 V DC coil specification and DIN electrical connection. It is supplied with the manifold, mounting hardware, quick-connect valve block and hose set identified for this package.
The CP210-CAN control box allows raise and lower response to be adjusted independently from 20 to 100 through the control menu. This provides separate tuning of upward and downward blade movement to suit the compatible hydraulic installation.
The valve documentation identifies wet-tube construction, manual override, moisture-proof construction, Class H coil insulation and LED indication. Relief-valve availability is a separate package selection: both versions are available with the confirmed hose set.
The controller and receiver accept 12–24 V DC, while the documented valve coil is rated at 12 V DC. Electrical integration must respect the rating of each component.
Quick-Connect Valve Block and Included Hose Set
The hydraulic connection equipment is supplied with the laser-control package so that the valve block and hoses can be considered together during installation planning.
Every set includes:
- Two hydraulic hoses
- Length of each hose: 7 ft / 2.13 m
- Diameter of each hose: ½ in / 12.7 mm
- Quick-connect valve block
The same confirmed hose quantity and dimensions apply to both relief-valve options. Confirm the hydraulic circuit, coupler compatibility and hose routing for the intended machine before installation.
CAN Communication and Industrial System Cables
The MD205-CAN communicates with the controller and receives power through its CAN connection. Dedicated power, receiver and blade/valve cables connect the principal system components.
The documented cable construction includes oil resistance, suitability for low temperatures and resistance to high mechanical stress. Circular MIL-style connectors and water- and dust-resistant connections support use on agricultural and grading machinery.
Application-specific keyed connections help distinguish the system interfaces during installation. Optional mast and remote accessories use their corresponding connections and cables.
Protected Components for Field Operation
The CP210-CAN control box carries an IP66 ingress-protection rating, and the MD205-CAN receiver carries an IP68 rating. The receiver combines an aluminum-alloy body with a mechanical clamp mount.
The controller’s backlit information display and the receiver’s visible grade LEDs allow the operator to monitor system status and grade position. Receiver/control-box communication warnings and short-circuit protection provide additional operating safeguards.
Reduce Repeated Manual Blade Corrections
Maintaining grade by hand requires the operator to watch the reference and repeatedly adjust the hydraulic controls. In Automatic mode, Gold-CAN uses receiver feedback to command the blade’s raise/lower circuit.
This can reduce the amount of continuous manual correction required during compatible grading work while retaining Manual mode for tasks that need direct operator control.
Maintain a Consistent Reference Across Level and Sloped Work
A common laser plane gives the receiver and controller a consistent elevation reference as the machine moves across the working area. Selectable control tolerances and independent raise/lower settings allow the system response to be matched to the grading task.
Where the separate transmitter supports single- or dual-slope operation, the system can follow that sloped reference. The slope is established by the transmitter and project setup.
Support Planned Field Drainage and Surface Preparation
Agricultural grading often requires elevations to be controlled so that the finished surface follows a planned level or slope. Gold-CAN provides the grade reference and compatible hydraulic blade control used to carry out that work.
Following the specified surface grade can support field preparation and surface-drainage projects. The required slope, outlet arrangement and broader drainage design remain project-specific decisions.
Controller Settings, Diagnostics and Support
The CP210-CAN provides on-controller settings for valve response, mast type, measurement units, laser signal smoothing and the Automatic-mode buzzer. It also provides a factory-reset function and a password-protected technical parameter menu.
Available system information includes:
- Operating mode and selected accuracy
